Have just bought a new cpu, motherboard and ram by ebay.
Was charged $50 postage for an item which would cost about $10.
Went down to PO to pick up this morning and they have only sent the cpu.
    Not happy

unfortunatly people have been increasing there postage to reduce there ebay costs for years this is not a new thing...........as i too dont think its very fair the only advice i can give is dont buy it, whether the postage is high or not you have a choice.

i always check postage before i bid on anything!! and especially check if there is pick up...never assume because they are in your area that they will let you
in the uk i used to ask for the weight of the item so i could double check postage online and if postage was to high i used to ask the seller why this is so..........

i have had some ars@y replies from people telling me that the money covers packaging as well to which i used to reply with the cost of the packaging they were using...... 9/10 there postage was way over what it should of been for postage, packaging and a small profit margin..

some people dropped the price where as others it was just great fun pointing out that they were conning people
