    Finally Fitted my Silicon Hoses

    Hi All,
    Finally fitted my new Silicon Hoses to my TD5 Defender the other weekend,
    finally got some pics up to show them off a bit...

    The new Silicon Hoses plus some nice Stainless Hose Clamps -

    From the Turbo -

    The pipe between the turbo and intercooler, freshly painted -

    My factory original ones are really soft and spongy,
    and I suspected that one of them is leaking at times,
    - due to a high pitched squealing noise (air being forced out a small hole type noise!) - and its not the exhaust manifold leaking!

    There are posts around that go into all the technical reasons why they are better...
    - I can't remember where, do a search for Silicon Hoses
    Think they were cheaper than factory rubber ones too.

    Plus they look cool
