    Also Vrilya Pt is a great spot .. I would tend to weight the West side of the Cape as the East is very windy. Haven't been to Chilli Beach but checking it out this run + the Pascoe X'ing. Capt Billy is OK (just), but from personal experience I would rather spend the extra time on the West side.

    Cheers and happy travels ... look for me at the first caravanserai you happen upon, I'll be the bloke in the flash tent surrounded by hand maidens, food tasters and physicians etc et al .........

    An update Lady and Gentlemen.

    Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, we will have to depart earlier than previously arranged ... (Friday noon). We were planning a brief interlude at a friend's cattle/sugar property South of Sarina. However I am now advised we will need to extend our stay to a full day on Sunday. It would appear they are having problems with wild boar and we have been asked to bag a brace or two. Hence, in addition to our previously advised opening for a gun bearer we must now also retain the services of a mahout. Any takers? ....

    one must ask - what form of "consultant" are you??

    or is it a "I can tell ya but I'd have to shoot ya" type of role?

    seems you might also need a butcher for the bacon....

    Ill be in the white 130d/c with a alumin canopy grey pvc with 2 tyres on the roof, followed by white 100 series and alumin c/t and then a red str navara with galv c/t

    Seems like we'll be more or less on the same trail, but p'raphs a day or two separated. I'll keep a lookout for a couple of stuck Nipponese jobbies and give you a hand, particularly the (Edit) IFS Navara ..
