    Ron,
It reminds me of about this time last year when I got mine (well actually two). They arrived and I could not get the old one in the yard. It did not want to co-operate. Then the other one (Virgin-Blue) arrived and had to stay out on the street.
Well I don't have to say it was interesting around home for a while.
I eventually compromised and got rid of the old one (and have regretted it since due to having to go and find parts that were on it).
Now I get the "you will never get it registered!"
    We will see.

    Good luck,
    Russ

    Grow some

Perhaps you can do it the other way. Just park it proud as punch in the driveway, withdraw $1000 from bank, say you'd bought it for $1000, get in trouble, sleep in doghouse, and then the next day mysteriously "find" $1000. Equilibrium returns to the world...

Seriously, good score. I'd love to "find" something like that and make it my (country) town car.

Sounds like you got rid of the wrong one. If you get me drift.

I thought this may have been in txt spk as I have a mental picture of you being flat out like a Lizard drinking.

So, with a bit of luck she may never discover it until 10 years time?

She told me to "Forget it!".

Today I saw him in his yard so I strolled across and asked him.

He said if I want it I can have it. He'd only just called Land Vehicle Spares to see they wanted it but the bloke he needed to talk to wasn't there.

So, being a bit thick, I said "Really? Fantastic! I'll take it."

Now I've gotta sneak it home and hide it in the back yard (may be difficult). I'll get it home before I tell her 'cos if I tell her first, it won't be allowed home. I'll need to organise some help to get it here as it's not going at the moment.

I wonder if this approach would work if I found a pair of female German backpackers on a train?
