Thread: Help needed with Barrett Radio

G'day,
Trying to get my radios in order. I have no problems in setting frequencies Rx and Tx. But how do you set the mode? I have CB channels 27000, and all set on AM. I want to be able to change mode from USB, AM, LSB. Channel 8, 11 on the CB channels I can do this but not the other 38 channels.
It is a HF Barrett 550.

I've got a Barrett 250 - and I've got no idea. I just press to talk. I didn't know you could do all this.

But is this right for HF? Are the different modes permitted on the HF class licence?

Give VKS 737 a ring, they'll set you straight I'm sure.
