    oh no my disco still not fixed -must vent

    You may have read in the tech section that I tore my flex plate on my disco 2 out. Well, I rang up albany and the told me to come get it from Katanning that arvo, but to give a last minute call b4 leaving. I did and they cautiously told me, "er... there's a problem.. err.... um.. well, the mechanic forgot to put a sensor on the bellhousing b4 replacing the gearbox. He tried to put it on afterwards but it.. er.. well, the wiggly thing fell inside behind the flex plate. We have to dismantle it again to get it out..."
    Is my car possesed perhaps?

    No not possesed, just bugger all mechanics around that know or care
    about land rovers....

    If I had my landy at a mechanic and they had to resort to calling a part a wiggly little thing i would sit there and watch them put it all back together, then i would tell them to stick their Invoice!

    Maybe, but I wasn't aware it could fall inside. Must go and check the one I just replaced a transmission on...
