    Any problem ?

Hey everyone iam going to put a lockable latch on the lid of the battery box on the Defender so i can put valuables in there. would there be any problem using a steel latch and steel bolts ?? (Because isnt the battery box aluminium ??) or may it corrode or get electrolysis ?? would i have to put something between the latch and the battey box ?? what i be better to Use rivets ??
    Thanks very much

I think you will find the existing latch is already steel.
