Hi all...
Thanks for a great day
I now know the importance of a good set of tyres when you have open diffs (or no electronic gizmos) however I think the Disco did Ok. once i put my right foot down.
Here are some photos... I'll load up the some video on youtube (Need to work out how to do that)

You didn't lack any right foot Carlos!
Wish I got a pic of you going up 'the hill' !!!
how much dust did you get in your Disco?
Good pics!
Photos at a decent size: have a look here search for threads (instructions) using 'photobucket', which seems to work very well.
Funny sight on the way home dept: A holden rodeo single cab 4x4 lwb with a full cage over the tray; in the cage was a horse, a live one standing upright; who needs a horse float? (how good would the centre of gravity be? crikey!)
cheers, GQ

I did think my car was looking a bit dustier than everyone else's..... i thought it was because of the darker color but now i know why![]()
Thanks guys, esp drivesafe for organising the trip., and the gentleman who lent me a UHF(call sign is on the top of my tongue). Had a great time, what appears to be very dusty inside the car! but no damage, so good fun to be had.
Yep, good day out!
Also very nice to finally put some faces to "handles" so now i know who it is that posts on the forum.....
Was nice not to break anything for a change and meet new people from up North and also Quiggers from the South. Thanks for the goodies Blknight - good to meet you too.
Thanks Tim and Harry!!
Wazza, how did your return trip go over the mountain?
Thanks for a good day all. Esp thanks to DriveSafe for the organisation and to Josh for the radio. It was really good to have a bit of a play with the D3. HDC is very cool!
Photos can be found here. I'll upload the rest tonight.
Yeah was nice. Three Defenders made the trip back across to duck creek and over the mountain. Was a nice pleasant drive and got to show Simon, Justine and Alex some more of the country around the coast.
Thanks to everyone for the day. Was great to see some of you from the last run and to meet some new faces.
Can wait to the next run Tim.
cheers
Wazza
Thanks all for a great day out and a little play time, good to catch up with some familiar faces and get to put faces to names on here, though it may take a couple more get togethers to cement that part. Thanks also to Tim and Harry for organising, I have quite a few pics so when I get a moment will post them up,
Regards
Stevo
