Back in the dark ages buying was the only method

My first CD - wouldn't have a clue

First vinyl, Deep Purple live concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (I think from around 1972?) Followed by Yellow Brick Road.

Will have to make the effort to get them onto CD

Can't remember which CD & couldn't afford a record player so it was The Clash - "Give 'em enough rope" & "The Clash" on double cassette. Unfortunately the both melted in my car one particularly hot day

    G'day Folks

Management informs me that the first CD was that gawd awfull "Insensitive" by Jann Arden 1995, 3 tracks,(playing it now)

First record 45 was "Rock Around The Clock" Bill Hayley & the Comets,1956, and Elvis 20 Golden Greats 1958, and a heap of Everley Bros, Johhnny and the Hurricanes, Roy Orbison originals God,I wish,I had them now, they would be worth a fortune to collectors then into the tape era, forgotten most of them preferred LP's Fleetwood Mac features heavily as does Pink Floyd & Johnny Cash, "The Man In Black"

Told ya I am a Dinosaur!!

    cheers
