They don't take alot of punishment (ie) corrogations on outback roads, in my opinion they are over rated for outback travel.

How many years of offroad corrugations do you want?

The oldest pair I have are 8 years old, my mates are the original generation.... so around 10yrs...

Mine live on corrugations... And you know, they're the ONLY lights that dont shake and vibrate offroad!

Including smashing them head on into a tree branch at 60km/h which didnt damage them I dont know what else I can say...

4 vehicles that just did a run to the surveyors corner (WA/SA/NT) have lightforce. Corrugations that broke dashboards inside the vehicles, and cracked a bullbar on one....

    And the lightforce are fine!

I have both and IMO the LFs are the better light.

There're also the Roo Lites which are a direct compy of the lightforces at a better price, but haven't heard any reviews to if it's holding to the same quality.

Oh well, just going on what i've seen when i've been touring, they have been the newer ones that i have seen

Not real keen on plastic brackets, they do however light up the road well

Common breakages on LF lights is due to owner installation issues, not the lights...

I've seen plenty of broken Hella and IPF mounts too....

Do you care to educate? Before I go and install them incorrectly!

Lightforce are great but cost a lot of $$$.
The Roo Lights look the same but I don't know how good they are. Probably as good but don't have the rep yet.
