Sorry to hear that. Have had the same thing this year. It does get easier and when you think of him in the future all the good times come to mind.

Uncle Ho
Over the past year we've had a number of posts about the loss of our dogs.
I thinks it's amazing that we feel so much for them. They do become part of the family and we do miss them. We bestow human traits upon them. I'm sure our old labrador used to smile when he was enjoying himself.
It's certainly hard taking them to the vet for the last time and being with them as they pass away.
Crikey, I've got tears in my eyes, again.

Know how you feel, our Borders Tim and Tam have been with us for 10 and 9 years respectively. They are just part of the family and definately house dogs.
The best time was when they had pups 5 black/white and 2 gold/white.
I am going to be in the same situation soon. My poor old Doberman is having trouble in the cold winter mornings and I don't think she's got another winter in her. NOT looking forward to the day we have to decide enough is enough.
Wish they lived much longer.
i remember haveing to put my sheperd down we had him since i was about 10 i think i was about 24 or 25 when he gave out in the back legs. what a great mate he was. lucky i had access to my mates backhoe to bury him in the back yard no way he was going else where
The last dog I lost was Cindy, who was my late wife's dog. She died suddenly, had some sort of siezure and was dead by the time I got to the vet after phoning and arranging for the duty vet to come in in the middle of the night.
She did not think she was human - but I am convinced that she thought we were all dogs! She spent a lot of time with Jane, lying across the top of the bed above the pillow.
Her replacement, also Cindy, is showing signs of age - nearly blind and nearly deaf, and getting slow. Probably around 15, although not sure since I got her from the RSPCA at Orange.

Yes we do treat our dogs very well, I have a new pup a little shihtzu cross pomeranian, ball of fluff, the unconditonal lo ve and loyalty u get from a dog is something thats hard to find in humans. I hate it when pets have to be put down, if u wanna see a 6 foot 1 240 kilo man cry u wouldnt have to look far, life goes on, would have aliked a few more years out of him but sadly wasnt gonna happen, his old girl friend Jedda is still with me they were like an old married couple.
240kilos
I'm 5'&' solid 80kgs of which I feel is too heavy, your 3 of me and your heart is the same size...
No I'm not politcally correct, Yes I am rude and say what I think..But you need to hear it as Someone needs to motivate you to hang around for your dogs sake..
Whats the DR's say at 240kgs and heart problem the prognosis would not be cheery.
If you got So many dogs do this.
1. When you get up for your wee wee in the morning leash one and walk it for 400 paces (200 out and 200 back)
Lunch time grab another one and do the same
After dinner do the same.
Do this for 14 days and then each week increase the paces by 200.
As for you diet the DR should have covered it.
Keep that up and this time next year you can tell me your a svelt 140kgs running 5kms 3 times a week and trade insults
Good luck dude![]()
BANG ON DIRTY DAWG
