Help me Pick which bar to buy

I need help deciding which bar to buy for the D2.

I travel long distances on country roads, often at dusk/dawn and night. I really like the ARB Sahara bar, but the lack of protection worries me..

Should I go with the Sahara Bar or the Standard ARB winch bar?

Pics below of each (thanks Slunnie and Brooksy)

I would prefer the standard winch bar. Better protection. A Roo will make a mess of your vehicle. Traveling in the country around dusk on a regular basis makes it more a matter of time than if.

I reckon the ARB Sahara bar looks really cool, but for frontal protection they don't come any better than the ARB standard winch bar.

Mind you, I don't know if my 12000lb warn will fit in either.

Hmmm, it may do, but I'm not sure. I thought the cutout in the PS mount was to fit the gearbox on the 12,000's. It's definately not for the 9000's.
    Cheers

    Go the one you want...

Neither will prevent a big roo on the outer edges from doing damage....

The std hoops are good for knocking sticks and brush away though...

The name says it all - the sahara bar is for use in deserts where there are neither animals nor trees. In fact, I am not sure what the hoop on it is supposed to be for.
