Yeah a group of 10 is fine IF NONE OF THEM PLAN ON LIVING OFF THEIR SHARE OF THE PROFITS. The more investors, the less share each gets of the profit. That's easy maths. Also the harder it is to get agreement on direction the business should be taking etc etc etc.

It sure woud be good to save Maxi Drive though.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

WE could set it up as a unit trust so the units were able to be traded without affecting the trustee company with an appointed exec management team.
say 500000 units at $1.50 - gives a bit of operating and development capital.
    500 investors at $1500 each
Should be able to find the number from the forum!

We could get Ziggy as CEO or Geoff Dixon and they could all pay themselves 32 million dollars each annual salary. Who cares if the shareholders lose their life savings. Maybe they would decide that Land Cruiser is the way to go, more volume greater possibility for expansion, dump Land-Rover etc.

No thanks - these sorts of schemes are fraught with problems. The best option for a specialty company in a niche market is a single entrepreneur carrying both the risk and the benefits which leads to motivation.

    Just my opinion.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It's O.K. for you to be a chauvinist as long as I can be a polyandrist!

so if i cal you dick insted of sclarke it doesn't matter????

my point is if there's info flying around and they can't even get one persons name right how accurate is the info in the first place.

if anyone is serious about MaxiDrive as a business venture, ring Mal and talk to him. DIRECT.

the internet is a great tool for sharing infomation, BUT, atleast 50% of all the stuff on the web is missinformation.

    rant off now...

just started to build a new tray for it, and have to fit my front Maxidrive. pto hyd winch is all sorted and thats one amazing winch...
slowly, slowy the build comes together, it is a daily driver to.
