    longest trip i had was sitting in the dicky seat in the back of a mates S3 traveling from Kenilworth through charly morlan park spent most of the trip picking my fillings of the floor and proventing my beer from being a volcano

    approx 6,000km

    Longest Journey
    Melbourne - Kununurra
    approx 3,800km

    Longest Single Drive
    Meningie (SA) - Mataranka (NT)
    approx 2840km
    Towing a trailer in 50 deg midday heat, the night was mild though.

    2000ish km, we were 3 up and we did perth to darwin with loooong range tanks on (500+ useable liters) toilet brakes were a case of opening the tailgate and throwing out the used bottle...... GIB cooked a feed before sleeping and change over was a case of set hand throttle, GIB would hold the wheel, passanger would slide across to the driving position and we keep on rolling.

    My biggest trips were Melbourne to Perth and back in my old 1973 SIII SWB.

    Part of the trip back I drove from Ceduna to Melbourne only stopping for fuel and a bite to eat. Took 24 hours I seem to remember (0700 departure - 0700 drive over Westgate Bridge). Spent 4 days on the Nullarbor waiting for parts and fixing my timing chain.
