Hi, landy services cost heaps just don't think about it. You should start to do them yourself you'll save alot.![]()
Hi There, I have a 1997 S1 Disco V8i Auto. It is now reaching 155k and is due a service(major I think). Last place I took it to was Graham Coopers (very good, but out the way), is there anyone else in Sydney (pref Norther Shore) that you would recommend. Also How much should I be looking to fork out on a major service. Car has no issues, drives well.
Thanks
C

There is nothing on a V8 disco you cant do yourself, if you are having no problems then just change fluids and filters etc.

Thanks for the Info, The quote I was getting for a Major Service was around $1000 and since I now have a new born bub, I just don't have that kind of money to throw around. IS there anywhere I can get a decent checklist of things I should check and replace as part of the Services ??
Cheers

what? spent the baby bonus on nappies?![]()
Exactly, but should have put it towards a lift kit :-)
They said everything that Land Rover would do, so I would be expecting nothing much for my money !!!
How technically challenged do you need to be to carry out your own servicing ? and are there any special tools I would require. The more money I can save the more mods the disco gets :-)
