    Plenty of nice places along the Murray ...just out of Cobram .. ...Backhouse Beach is nice ...but slightly more the 1.5 hours more like 3 hours.

    or the Otways ... Blanket Bay etc but gets crowded.

    But Bright sounds nice. ...

    We used to have 400 acres on the murray and we went to the otways about 4 years ago on Ausday and havent been to Bright since 1983 .

    Bright, well not very this past weekend, got hit with all this ****** rain and was pretty much confined to the caravan with the kids for 2 whole days, didnt stop raining from Friday night till Sunday morning .

    Pity, we spent the week in the pool, a little 4 wheeling, and a bit of boozing. Weather was great
