    Still stick by it.
Didn't say she was the ugliest, that would'nt be nice.
Boring an sexless an bloody dangerous, an I dont want
her as the deputy leader of Oz.

Helen belongs to them, not us. They already got what they paid for !

Cant stand listening to her ( Julia ) or the snake oil
salesman ( rudd ), thats why I mute the thingy.

    Cripes its a worry, eh.

    ****Disclaimer***
I do not intend to announce my support for any candidate on my ballot paper in this forum nor intend to embark upon an ideology argument with the learned folk of this forum.

However personally, I believe that I and most of my extended family, are definately better off under the coalition now, then I will be under the ALP in a few years time, should they win.
    In no particular order:
Employment: I am a soldier. Historically, the ALP has done no favours for the ADF. In fact many of us 'senior soldiers' cringe at the thought of returning to the hawke/keating Defence Force days - no money for equipment, ammo, salary, fuel etc. No deployments to practice our craft and significantly, much downsizing and razor gangs.
Investments: In order to be self sufficient in old age, I have an investment portfolio - mostly property. Labor introduced capital gains taxation, and tinkered with negative gearing. I fear for their return and my portfolio.
Trade: I am an electronics tech by trade, we have never had it so good! I am not talking about the tradie shortage, but the fact that I am no longer beholden to a union or the fat smelly shop steward! I can and do earn as much or as little as I like, when I like.
Social Welfare: We have a special needs child and have never had so much assistance. Almost embarrassing.

In conclusion, I do not speak for all, just me. Also, my vote is wasted as I'm in Lalor, a safe labor seat held by the witch herself, comrade gillard.

Also, I note that many have indicated that they would prefer better roads, hospitals and schools etc instead of a surplus. I do as well, but I have discounted those as voting issues this time round. Why? They are state issues. I expect my useless state member to deliver those but she hasn't! Those things will only be fixed here in Gods toilet when the people change state governments.
To appease those who believe I have been one eyed, I will vote for the opposition if they can promise that my mortage stress will reduce immediately after the election and all my federal ill's will be solved.

    Anyway, my ten cents worth.
As I said, I will not be entering into any further discussions re the election as political discussions are never won they just make good landy drivers argue!

    Ralph

The health system definately needs a leg up. I regularly speak to Ambo's, and you just would'nt believe what these wonderful people have to put up with, especially in the country or on the fringes. More power to them.

Feeny, where's Bronwyn Bishop in your lineup?

    And Carmen Lawrence?

And Alexander Downer? (in fishnet stockings)
