    Discovery II Rims in Darwin

G'day guys. I am passing through Darwin next week and want to pick up an additional spare rim.

I spoke with the local Landy dealer and a steel rim is over $500 and alloy around $1,000.

Are there any wreckers or second hand dealers worth a try?

    Cheers for your help.

So who does the gold plating ?

Maybe see if ROH or someone make something to suit - may not look exactly the same but will function the same.
You could have it delivered to Darwin to meeet you there. Any tyre place will be able to advise.

I think the aftermarket alloys require different wheel nuts. We source second hand alloys from SA, then sell for about $450ish.

Ring Triumph Rover Spares in SA. They posted one (alloy) to me for $13.50 postage - rim was second hand and less than $200.

Cheers guys. I will try give your suggestions a try.

What are the chances of a general tyre dealer having something that will fit just to get me by? Not too worrried about matchin up rims in the short term.
