Our last trip away to snowy we tried this LR wave thing and got mixed results. P38 and Disco drivers had the least responce next were RRCs. Most defenders and all series waved. Tried it on other brands and often gave us a strange look May be we need two snorkels and a 4" liftTony

i tried to wave to all landies on my trip to the cape last month and found quite a few waving back .It became a game to figure if the oncoming would wave back or not. Usually a 50% success rate!

I had a couple of D1s and D2s wave back in Melbourne but on the trip back only got one wave back and bugger me if it wasn’t another MkIII RR, down near Batemans Bay.

Wave all you like at RRSs and they just get the stunned mullet look on their faces.

Got my first wave last Monday.
Comming back from Bilo, a guy in a D2 towing a caravan, waved

I was so excited I nearly "sh*t" myself

I composed myself and "casually" waved back.

Pity they don't recognise the dirty Disco like wise.

Chuck a set of Simex's on and watch the wave rate increase.

I get an approx 80% wave rate when I have the offroad tyres on, and the usual Commodore drivers at the traffic lights looking at the Landy, then me then the tyres, then the usual nod and smile.

Although in reality they're probably looking and thinking pinky finger thoughts out of jealousy, the same way people do as the pull up at the lights next to an Aston Martin DB9.

On a positive note there is this local woman who drives a nice 130 CC, I see her on a daily basis, her enthused wave is amazing, at one point I thought she was going to fall out of the drivers window.

I waved at a Red 110 on the Bradfield Hwy this morning, but I was on a bus and they didn't see me!

ts official...disco drivers are obviously incapable of waving. Even the grey nomads in discos towing caravans don't wave Every other brand of vehicle waved at us on our trip...everyone waves outback...except disco drivers that is
Pffft, typical fender driver comment . I get waves from disco drivers in my area, even a bloke in a RR Vogue ...you know who you are, I have waved to fender drivers and they stare blankly, even had waves back from D3 drivers as well when I had mine and now the D2. So is it the disco drivers...............or is it you ,

    Regards
