    Do tell.

I have used MR for 5 or 6 years and have never had a problem with them. Both Dwayne and Warren are ever helpful and always up for a chat, and Harry who runs the workshop has been good too. Leon is there now getting a gearbox overhaul, and the Defender has been serviced there since new.

They usually have everything in stock that I've been after and even Repco at Moronfield get parts from them.

No gory details, I don't have names or specifics.
I've only dealt with them a few times.
Two occasions I've received the wrong part. Two unrelated occasions of gruff treatment of my other half (and not much better toward me). The occasional stuff up sure, the rough day once in a while perhaps, but on seemingly every dealing...

Anyway I built a bridge and am a B.O.R customer.

You know, I reckon the southside service department is pretty good. They do stuff a few things up but they are quick to fix it.

Generally speaking when Blue Ribbon Landrover gave the dealer's sign back to LR (funnily enough they didnt want to spend the $1m on a new shop that LR insisted on to service the LR3 without being able to also service at least Honda (their other significant half or Mitsubish) in that new facility - with LR saying no way the other vehicles would have to be serviced in the old centre; so im told by the trusted service manager whose a great fella who was brought up on LRs) I have lost faith in LR generally. I have tried the other 2 in town who are owned by the same company - and frankly I wouldnt send my dog there to get a bone.

    Cheers

Gday Mate i second the MR Automotive approach, we have delt with them a couple of times now and Dwayne is the man. They offered to send me a brake line out via courier for BB but i refused and drove down to pick it up.

I can't go past Dwayne at MR.I dropped in the Saturday morning before I went to Carnarvon to pick up some Isuzu rad hoses. He had them in stock and asked if I wanted to take in case and return if not used no cost. I needed a set so just bought them then and there. I guess like any good service they are always under the pump. I run a spare parts set up so I understand where there frustrations come from. So word of advice is to arm yourself as best you can.

    cheers

Good to see some things don't change, I remember my dad at the spare parts desk trying to get parts for a Commer tipper with full air brakes. When told they never made such a vehicle dad said the truck was out the front, he was told quite forcefully that he couldn't look at a truck that didn't exist.
