    WA-Aulroian Xmas 4x4

    Hi All
I was just thinking that as Xmas is only a few weeks away how about a trip between Xmas and New Year, maybe get a good turn out planning this far in advance ?

Maybe Sat 29th or Sun 30th, (for those who have to work around Xmas time).

Maybe we could take an hour or so at lunch time for a change and have a chat maybe even a few snags, OK I'm getting ahead of myself here.

    Places I can think of:

    Harvey Hills
    Mundaring Weir Area
    Lancelin / Cervantes /wedge areas
    Moore River
    Nangara state forest, (power lines)
Power line trail, around York somewhere,(I think?)
Also been told/think there are tracks around, (but never been):
    Jarrahdale
    Dwellingup
    Julimar

Either an easy day out so no damage and softroaders can attend, or not, open to suggestions, I think the rule is majority rules?

Anyhow...............Who's up for it and any other suggestions for the day either location or festivities wise ?????
p.s. we might need someone who knows where they are going

Conveniently, I'm not working from the 27-30th (but every other day )

I was thinking of doing some sort of an overnighter trip to ring in the New Year...

I'll cautiously raise my hand at this stage.

Soft roaders going along then your into Moore River or Lacilin and Wedge as Powerlines track would be too rough from what l have seen of the people's pics posted on places like Perth 4x4 etc.

when I think about it I guess theres not that many WA-softroaders frequent AULRO, is there?
So maybe the track doesn't matter that much.

I don't mind where, it's been so long that i've been out in the 4x4 i'll go anywhere!
i've never done the perth-york powerline, how about that?
or harvey given someone will offer to lead because iget lost anywhere south of the river.

Sounds great would be great to come along (We'd be in the 110).

Just done Lancelin to Cervantes mostly up the beach a few weekends ago, was a good run except for the road from Grey settlement was very rough and slow going and we were getting absolutely mobbed by flies (40 degree day and no air con).

Any location is good for us!

Count me in too, I'm not too fussed where it is, I've got some work to do on my car over xmas break but it should be ready by the 30th.
