A sight to make you weep!

I have just seen a 6 cubic meter skip out the back of Prestige Automotive Group (where they train LR mechanics among others.)

It is full and overflowing with the diagnostic gear and special tools!.

Heaps and heaps of it. Probably some of the army prototype stuff as well. topped of with all the shadow boards and a couple of bull bars!.

Its a Yellow Dimeo skip and leaving North Ryde this morning.

    Sob Sob.

    G'day Switter

Yep! that would be right, Ford no longer own Landrover so scrap ALL Landrover associated gear, big red line through ledgers,W/O somebody quick maybe able to salvage it as most would be good, been there done that with Leyland, wait until the start throwing out parts stock and instructional literiture.

Well you could try that, but there's not much left there.

I picked up a hundred and some kgs of cables including every Testbook adapter known to man or beast.
2x Testbook stands and sets of drawers
    A lifetime supply of these:
    SPX Landrover | Detail
    SPX Landrover | Detail
A box of misc special tools
A display board of Sanden compressor tools and diagnostic stuff
    A Testbook computer
One or two sets of Testbook CDs
    Some sunvisory things -outside
    A rug for a RR - loadspace, I think.
3x Fastcheck kits ABS, and two others.
Half a dozen or so monster stickers with tool outlines for the perfect LR workshop.

I don't know if the Testbook works.

So is anybody interested in any of this stuff?
PM me with offers of beer, etc.

Thanks to Zwitter for the heads up, and good to put a face to the name.

    Cheers
    Simon

same thing happend when ford bought landrover and shut off most of the smaller repair places and pulled them off the warrenty repair list... lots of stuff in lots of auctions going for stupid prices...

If you knew where to keep your ear on the ground you could get rebuild kits including shafts for gearboxes for less than $150
