Holy hell that was nasty, lucky they both got out ok, interesting about the fridge and the fact the diesel kept going, must say something about the strenght of a Jero, bet an alloy Fender or other hardtopped Series would just fold up like tin foil

    Very Scary ...lucky
Just shows how things can go pear shaped very quickly.
Scariest part I wouldn't have been too concerned backing down that either ... however it's hard to judge the terrain from a 3" by 2" video ........

Holy ........ the amount times i've backed out of worse than that cause of bitten of too much. Makes me start too think i should give the solo 4wding a miss unless it happens to me. Mind you where was he looking as he started to reverse it looks like he went offline and out of the ruts straight from the get go. Disaster was then unavoidable.

Yes very nasty did not even look like they were doing anything all that wrong, just bad luck really. About the only thing that might have saved them there, was as he said in the write up... is to have someone guide you back when there is a steep drop off on one side.

Yes I would have had a go at backing down that too.

Looked to be dry and OK. After having another look at the video looks like they did not even realise they were in trouble until it started to slide into the ruts and by then it was too late and it was all over.

Not a good result that's for sure

Can't comment completely but from what I can see his back wheels were no-where near where they should have been (ie. in the ruts).

I bet he said a rude word.

He says the insurance company recovered it, would be interesting to know just what they say about a payout.
