    Shifties unite...!

    Anyone else a shifty here?

I have the pleasure of working all holidays this year, sitting here at work right now actually, working till the 27th. Then start up again, just in time for New Years...

Had my family Christmas yesterday - I got a Sidchrome spanner and socket set

And with that comes the end of my festive season!

Was a shifty for 17 years, and worked my share of Christmas days, gave up shift work in 1999. I worked Christmas day 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 due to fires. Luckily its been quiet (relatively) since then over Christmas.

This year I'm not even the 'on call' officer.

I'm an ex-Baker and I used to work all holidays (except Xmas day or good Friday, we were closed) so I do know where you lot are coming from.

But I do like my holidays now I'm a plasterer

    Have a good Chrissie all.
