I must have been in the good books as I scored another red Td5 Defender fully imported from UK.

And believe it or not, it came complete with the red sands and spinifex of the Simpson Desert !!!!

I got a couple of hand held .75 watt UHF's (uniden) and A digital tyre pressure guage from Mrs Mc, A tape measure and electrical crimps from the kids.

As always the kids were spoiled rotten at our place and still had their Mum's and 3 sets of grand parents and countless aunties and uncle's to go before the end of the day so Im sure they scored pretty well.

The rule at our place is 7am get up time at Christmas and easter and I had to wake the kids this morning which was a first for christmas.

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year everyone.

Got up this morning and started the Disco.

Clonk! And engine started, but now there's lots of steam billowing out of the exhaust pipe. Smells like coolant too, and some was dripping out.

I think my engine has managed to blow a valley gasket or a head gasket, not sure which yet.

    Merry Christmas all....

My mum (73) has a habit of making me wildlife garden ornaments. Today an emu (see pics) joined a wombat and an armadillo. It has a hole running up the neck so that you can put a stake in the ground to hold it in place.

Pretty good I reckon but I'm biased.

and my wife is getting me a UHF so I can go on the GCLRO trips but I have to go buy it myself.
