    Delvac pricing - II

    Hi,

I refer to the thread on Delvac 1 pricing - I have found an alternative if anybody is interested in using Delvac but find the cost prohibitive.

The place is in Kilsyth Melbourne - Imperial Oil - and the product is Petro-Canada Duron Synthetic 5W40. It is essentially the same but cheaper.

I think you'll find the Duron is a Group III base, but it is an excellent oil with an excellent reputation in North America.
Pity they don't bring in Esso XD-3 0w-40, but that would cut across Exxon-Mobil too much, as it is at least as good as Delvac 1, if not better.
One comes from Canada (Esso) one from the US, both are different blends yet both are the same company. Go figure.
