It might not be the best off roader in the stable but it would definatly sell and bring more cash to the company to develope other vehicles that you & me would appreciate more.
Land Rover realizes that it cannot survive simply by producing 4x4's only. A Sports Rover that Joe public can afford would be a welcome addition. This could be why has Rover been kicked from Pillar to post for the past 10 years?

Has anyone seen the latest 2 Door Range Rover Sport yet? (not the prototype orange one) Pictures are in this months LRM magazine. Only 100 to be built...it's just sooo erotic!......

I actually like the idea as a town car!!

The 2 door RRS's being built at the moment are I think by a modifying company, not LR, although I did hear that they were working on one.

The LRX is a good idea. It'll soften LR's image. It takes TR another step further with Sport and Eco modes. It is also hybrid electric like the Prius, and shorter and less long than the FL2. The tailgate has special seating indentations and drinks holders.

I'd like to see a more touring-practical car, but these concepts serve their purpose. Some features are just wrong though, for example the speedo dial works opposite to what you'd expect.
