If you like the dealer in Toowoomba - deal with him. He is about as close to you as many other Disco/Defender owners are close to their nearest dealer. If fact for many you are closer.

P.S. Message to LRA - fix up the dealer network! Or better still start one as there is virtually nothing left that resembles a network.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    LR dealer experience

I have had two dealer experiences.
    Briefly.

    1. Lance dixon in doncaster, melb. a few years ago.
After finishing my last exam I thought i'd have a look at a defender.
When crawling through / over a defer looking at, I was not approached wrt to discussing the vehicle or making a sale. Much like someone trespassing i was asked what i was doing there...

    2. ULR land rover in malvern. 45 minutes ago.
While a previous post made the reflection that defenders were parked we of course found a new 2007 defer packed at the very back of the lot.

We spoke to George. He was more than happy to answer all our questions, and politly stood by while my partner and I looked over a second hand 130, and the newer 2007 110.
We shook hands and he offered to take me for a test drive then, or call back when convenient.

Oh! Hang on. That would mean I have to wear (a) long pants and (b) a tie - maybe even shoes!
Im A car salesman and this Is why I dont sell new cars,,, (well One of the reasons). I cant stand wearing pants shirt and tie,,,

Luckily I found a job selling used 4x4's where i can where what ever i want, jeans shorts what ever. And we always have heaps of landy's, theres nothing better than having someone come in to buy a cruiser and sending them out in a disco, exept when they come back for warranty,,,,,,,, bloody TD5's...ha
