    Give me North Straddie on Main Beach anyday.. as for tracks, there are heaps of inland tracks. you can go exploring all day without meeting up with any other 4x4's. was there a few weeks ago and foundsome great ones. Moretons tracks are boring and there are no sidetracks anywhere for exploring.

    Straddie's barge is half the price of Moretons and easier.

    Been to North Straddie about 20 times in the last 12 years.. Moreton twice.. never again.. too boring

    Moreton is the go for me ... did Fraser, Moreton and NStraddie in one trip.

    Fraser = Magestic!
    Moreton = Sensational!
    NStraddie = When do we leave .. I'm bored!

    I'd probably go for Moreton as well.

    But Straddie's not bad, and you'll save some money on barge costs.

    Either way, have a great time, and bring back some pics!

    Cheers

    Moreton no question

    Far less crowded - not a bitumen road or latte crowd (outside Tangalooma) in sight
    Heaps of tracks, plenty to see and do, good size
    THe resort is great
    The camping is better
    better Diving, Fishing, Drinking spots
    Barge is more exxy, but the trip is longer, you're further away and you don't get bogan daytrippers

    And you can't do this on Straddy
