    Made a roll cage years ago for my old series (1959) soft top landy out of 3" pipe looked good and bolted it to the chassis
    3" is HUGE.............
    Why not go the common 60mm and then you can get a bender easy...

    I have used these guys to bend pipe for roll cages. They are very good and will work to a template that you provide.

    Provided the pipe you are using is heavy walled, there shouldn't be too much deformation. The main hoop in my Datto 1200 is 45mm OD with a 2.8mm wall and the bends they did are perfect.

    Yeah you need a good set of dies not to get that dented look. I have a Swade Sir 16b pipe bender and unless you use thick walled pipe it kinks and these aren't a cheap bender. ONeday i'll buy the tube bender adapter for it.

    Mate, prefabricate it, do not try to bend them with el chepo pipe bender.
