When I was an apprentice and young tradesman, all you had to do was preswent the broken bit to the Sidchrome rep. who used to call around in a van full of stock several times a year and he would replace it without question. Times have changed. Sidchrome is now just another cheap brand name made in the mystic east by a multi-national owner. Snap On were always grossly overpriced in my opinion. This is a result of a barely legal franchising/pyramid marketing scheme that has numerous levels of profit taking between the manufacturer (often not Snap On, but someone unnamed who puts Snap On brand on their product) and the retailer in the van. Top quality hand tools are Armstrong, Allen, Proto, Britool, Beta, Dowidat, Stahlwille, and Gedore.

I was wondering the same thing. However as good as my Sidchrome spanners are to me (just weekend warrior stuff anyway) my open ender 14/15mm spanner is stamped the wrong way around. The 14mm end is stamped 15mm and vice versa

Since it is a lifetime warranty, they don't need to know the date of purchase. But who do you return it to for the replacement?

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help...
No reciept required, take it to any Sidchrome dealer, they will either replace it on the spot or return it through the Sidchrome rep., done it many times amd not all Sidchrome, Regards Frank.
