    WA has parks pass fees, which are a scam and then camping fees as well. I do not mind paying camp fees if the camps are maintained.

    G'day Pat.
    I read this and was'nt impressed.
    I dont know anymore details but I can assume its not good.
    I dont mind paying a small fee but only if its not a pain in the ass
    to do it.
    I dont plan any trips using laptops and fancy stuff nor have I
    ever bothered about two way radios and gizmo's. I havent perished yet !
    I will use a mobile phone now tho.

    Dont know what its like in Vic now, NSW is crap and I would not travel
    east of Nyngun, or go anywhere near a national park.

    I want to make one last trip thru the deserts and then retire onto some
    acerage ( 1000 or more) where I can potter about in me fourby and be in
    the bush without having to bugger around.
    Maree or somewhere like that is right in the middle of it, eh.

    some have self registration still and some you need to book online..

    stayed at emu creek the other week and it was still self registration, bribie has been prebook for years and kennilworth is as well now and i think couchin is as well now...

    just another way of making it harder so less people do it... .... another fat arsed academics with no real world experience decision no doubt
