camping for the inept, lazy or brand new Prado drivers

For a fee they set up your campsite, supply beer food etc.........

Clever Camping. Hiring Camping Equipment - makes camping easy!

If your going to this extent why not get a hotel room, caravan or stay at home?

Not my idea of camping but may be someone elses.

i particularly like the romantic getaway with 2 sleeping bags..

why not a double sleeping bag? surely that would be more 'cough cough' romantic?

i saw something similar in the kimberly a few years back but it went further.

Basically it was a guided tour for a couple in there 50's. The guide (1 person) drove them all the way through the kimberly in a newish cruiser and did everything for them including camp setup and packing, cooking, cleaning.

It was like two 50y/o children that had to have everything done for them!

Looked like a tough job, really tough.

There's plenty of people in certain towns and city locations (being careful not to offend anyone here..) whom I think this kind of service would be most applicable and then they could brag at the next dinner party how they have been camping in the wilds of Australia.....

It's a bit like the grey nomads who deck out a semi trailer sized rig to tour Australia.

I do a bit of o/s trekking and the same thing happens there. I once went to Nepal and witnessed a german couple who had a whole expeditition party of porters and cooks take them around the Annapurna circuit - what a laugh!
