You still won't be able to air up as fast as me though

Should have bought one of these:

Cubic Feet per Minute Output @ Engine RPM
    1000 2000 3000 4000
    6.94 13.89 20.83 27.78

    How does yours compare?

That looks to me like an air-conditioning air compressor or the like

I've got a 20ltr (I think?) Scuba tank we're gonna pressurise to 200psi and fill from there... so when it comes to the crunch I really couldn't say, but yours is probably quicker I'll grant you that

Thanks Adam will do but originally it's gonna be all by itself (time constraints with Cooma etc). I'll get a box built around it when I get back :-)

As mentioned elsewhere gonna use a similar size ex-scuba tank as my air tank, but intend to put it in the back besides the drawers instead of underneath...

I dunno about rego, probably not.. will let you know when it comes up
Now you have me worried, just removed complete back seating and belts from the fender , better check WA regulations

That is a York air conditioning compressor. Was fitted standard to some fords, and even some rangies.

You may be more familiar with the Sanden type?

I believe the electric compressor above has roughly about the same CFM as a small sanden at 4000rpm. A big sanden or a york should flow more. But either option would make a good compressor.
