1. Anti-squeal shims, probably a dealer only item.
2. Check the clutch hydraulics, sounds like the clutch is dragging, or too little oil or too thick an oil in the gearbox.

was about to do the same myself till i asked my parts supplier when i picked up a caliper kit half way through the job.....had dig them ut of the bin

which pads did you install?

I have heard of problems with none Genuine pads squealing - to the point it can give the same impression as the ABS sensor is failing, as it can produce the same frequency to the sensor!!!
