That is another thing those people do....

    I haven't seen pics, so I can't comment.

I will say that if I had to travel in one of those vehicles, I would hope the windows were all gone to allow some fresh air through...

    seat belts

The vehicle was a ford bantam bakkie (UTE i thinks u call em) which belonged to my neighbour so only has one passenger seat belt.
At least it was fastened not like so many people driving with kids completely unrestrained out here.
I guess sometimes you make do with what you have.

My old series bus only has front restraints but I only reach 45 mph on a downhill with a tail wind so I guess accidents are rarely likely to hapen.

Amazing how threads take on a life of their own sometimes

Should we ask ethnicity or would that be racist?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Bit of a worry as he is now on Ls and getting his license soon.

Ours used to go to sleep as soon as the road got really rough. It's amazing where a child can sleep.

I don't think it would be racist to describe them as being of Aboriginal descent. I couldn't vouch for what % true Aboriginal they were though.
