I've just returned from the dreaded Gateway Motorway on my way home from MR Automotive in Redcliff - Grover has had his first service. Those guys are great - quality work, very helpful, good advice and great prices. I too cannot sing their praises loudly enough.

    They are now BBS.
I was in there yesterday buying my filters. The Landy parts guy has left but they still stock and sell the parts.

Canberra Motor Works at Mitchell. Not cheap but thorough, helpful, friendly and above all highly ethical. You get what you pay for, including peace of mind.

In terms of performance, they can make any Landy perform better through the various upgrades that they have. This may include engine, driveline, suspension or whatever. Increasing the performance like tweaking the fuel pump isn't without it's risks, and so in that respect I'd have a LandRover specialist or a diesel engine specialist do it whoever that may be.

Davis Performance Landys are not expensive for the work that they do. What tends to make them expensive at times is that they know what to look for and they find everything that is a problem. At the end of each service they give me a list of things that need looking at and when I check them out they've all been legitimate. I then later just schedule them in for repairs, but I know that my Disco despite it's hard life is always A1 underneath.
