It's the prelude to the new series which was aired last week in the UK.

It is found on FinalGear.com :: There's Fifth Gear, There's Top Gear, And Then There Is Final Gear

    regards

Sort of - it's just a one-off segment for Sport Relief - no relation to the regular TG series. The next series (assuming it will follow the usual schedule) probably won't appear until October in the UK. We are also due to see our own Top Gear Australia maybe in August which will mix up the schedule even more.

Series 9 was cut short since it followed Hammond's crash and they only started airing it in January 2007. Series 10 (which had the North Pole episode as a one-off in July) ran through the typical period from October to Christmas.

Earlier series were run with two short series every year airing across Christmas/New Year and again in Summer (UK) but they seem to have abandoned this.
