    Bloody hell

Now I know I have to move into the 21st Century - and I don't give a rats admitting to this - I was wondering who the hell JJJ was

JJ Cale is cool. But I wondered if this JJJ was JJ.

Alas a post further on enlightened me - Triple J - a radio station.

Sorry, I ceased listening to imbecile disc jockeys many years ago - I listen to the Cricket Test Matches - and revel in the fact that the Great Betrayer, Traitor and Goose has reduced air-time as a result of being the Pakistani Coach - otherwise my radio air-time would have been near zero.

This post may amuse you - however you should read the many posts on this thread before judging. Many contradictions and insights to a person's personality.

Which of course is what music is - both a reflection of a person's current mood and an insight to their deeper personality.

I do listen to the ABC - some good interviews there. As for music - the mood sets the tune - definitely not the person behind the microphone.

I gave up listening to JJJ years ago. The only interesting thing there is Dr Karl.

Radio is made or broken by the DJs and JJJ's are a real turn-off.

I find most radio these days is pretty bad. I hate breakfast shows.

My music taste varies depending on the mood I am in. Anything from Il Devo to Hawkwind as long as it is "quality" music. I rarely listen to one radio station for long as I prefer to listen to music, not some clown cr**ing on for ages.

JJJ for me too, actually i started with Double J, i like alot of the new bands around at the moment, of coarse some are crap too, i have never liked house/disco, country or western and i especially hate electonic stuff.

My favourite music is late 60s to late 70s, Free, Zeppelin, Bad Company Sabbath, Cream, BTO, Deep Purple and so on.
