The Manager of Australia's Largest Land Rover Fleet

Congratulations are in order for Ken Gillespie. Today Ken was appointed into the position of manager of Australia's largest fleet of Land Rovers, as Chief of Army.

I know Ken personally and it will probably not make any mention until he retires but Ken started out in the Army as an Apprentice Bricklayer. Becoming Chief of Army is a pretty big rise.

Can anyone name anyone else who has risen so far in public life?

Was a time when those of the rifle captured the helm!

Yes I know him, and reckon he would be right for that or any job. I wish him well.

I wish we could drop this "krudd" thing.
Even politicians, no matter what you think of them, do not need to be referred to in an obviously derogatory manner.
It might seem witty but it loses it after being repeated a few times.
