I've seen that photo before somewhere. A recovery down the Royal National Park way from memory.

I got it! The handle was used to join two snatch straps however, the recovery was, shall we say "difficult?'

Actually off Garie Beach - I did post a series a while back (taken by a mate)

Correct - Nothing to do with me though, a Kluger and a 100 series (IIRC) Kluger was brand new, borrowed by a salesman, and spend the night below the high tide line

I wonder if the salesman still has the job...... If I remember the days when when my old man owned a car yard, he probably does

So, the Klager was snatched out, the sandcruiser stopped short, Klager didn't, and the straps parted on the first attempt?

    Sound about right?

Unfortunately, if I tell a lie it shows on my face.

On the plus side, it looks like the hail damage can be "dentless" repaired. Unfortunately, this doesn't help the carpark damage. (Don't you louuuve people who "hit & run".)

I got some hail damage to the P38A in those last storms at Penrith. Not a lot, just a couple on the upper tailgate aluminium skin.

I rang AAMI - yes, they'd fix it but the car would no longer be insured as it was now hail damaged.

    I got it fixed myself.
