Yes, they will show it to you for free, but I had to go into the city to see it.

Do yourself a favour man and go and look at the image. You can attend the Traffic Camera Office in the city and view the image in person and it will not cost you a cent. If you request the image to be sent to you it will cost you some cash.

Do this prior to paying, there has been instances in the past where they have got it wrong.

Yeah I'll check the photo, but I don't think I can be bothered driving in to see it. I"ll probably just get them to send it to me.

The thing is. I can't for the life of me remember running any red lights since i've been here in victoria!! I just don't do that! So what gives? Do you get hit if you sit too far past the solid line or what?
    Stirling,

    Be very careful in VIC!
The Police have been known to shoot first

Maybe you should pay for the photo and check it out.
Either way, unless you have a good lawyer, that is not the state to rely on good will.

    Cheers,

I had a infingement notice from exactly that same intersection, turning right from FT Gully going south on to Stud Rd. I was pretty sure I'd gone in to the intersection on the orange. Like you, I am very careful about red lights.
If you go into town you can view the photos for free on their screen. If you want a print sent to you it costs you $. I didn't bother looking at the photo ( probably should have ) but did write and ask the Police to review the case- ( you can write to the Sergeant, Traffic Camera Office) - was not let off though but did get an extra month to pay.
What hurts is the three demerit points.
