    Cool Tyres this or that

    OK I need some advice I am curently running 265X75X16 tyres on my 130
    lately I see guys with 285X75X16 tyres and keep thinking that size would be nice. Now I need new tyes soon which one should I go for I cain't decide? Do I stay for the size I have or go for the bigger size if I do go bigger will the bigger size make much difrence. Some help would be good Its just a pitty you cain't try tyres befor you buy

    if you do go bigger you'll need to purchase 5 tyres

    Well, you could just do it... or always wonder what it would have been like and wish that you'd just done it. They're an inch taller and an inch wider, it's no big deal from a driving point of view. NCOP may have a different perspective??? I run that size on my Disco2 and like them, they perform well, wear well etc etc etc but for remote travel I think they do use a little bit more fuel.

    At the moment I am running 285/75/16 BFG A/Ts on my 130.Great tyres for long runs as they were wearing well untill I loaded up for a couple desert trips. The extra weight over the back axle caused a fare amount of chipping to the tyres in rough country, however they worked great in the sand.
    The cost has put me of buying another set.
