If you like a drink, then take plenty of money to Norway. Still can't get over the price of booze in the Scandinavian countries. My read is that they tried to solve their alcoholism problems by masking the stuff so expensive that people would not be able to afford drinking to excess. Notable lack of success. Norwegians became enthusiastic home brewers and distillers to the point where the government has tried to restrict sales of sugar in large quantities, Swedes catch the ferry to Denmark where, although expensive, booze is cheaper than in Sweden. Danes, who aren't shy at shifting their grog, look down their noses at the drunk Swedes waiting for the return ferries. All the Scandinavian countries and Finland are extremely tough on drink driving so don't drive with ANY blood alcohol.
