    Accseesing info about 4wd tracks

I would like to suggest to restrict the section of trips and tracks in different states to log in members only so we can share the information of good tracks with all the members instead of sending PM inviting local members for a trip to an interesting track.
In this way we will keep some of the idiots and Irresponsible non mmbers out of the tracks and help to conserving them.
I would like the opinions of the members and perhaps make a poll about this subject.
I am having a great time in Tasmania and looking forward to exploring new tracks in the next couple of weeks.

    Cheers

I actually can;t see it working, because you are always going to have people abusing the information, member or not.

Also, most threads about tracks are about well known tracks, or make no mention as to precisely where they are.

It would be interesting to know the opinion of other members about your point. If that is the way that you like it then i will continue to sending PM's about tracks, their condition and atractions.
my suggestion is a very common practice in other forums.
I would like the forum admin to made a Pol about this issue for the benefit of us all.
    Cheers

Quite frankly, I don't see what it would achieve, or why it is necessary.
If you want a run a poll, run one. Anyone can do that, I think admin & mods have enough to do.

I agree. Maybe at risk of being blasted it could be paid members although that then limits the amount of people but it may get a few folks to sign up which would be good for the site. And I have received plenty of info to make my yearly cost well justified.
