Is that a push bike drink bottle holder you have holding your lubrication bottle?
I have the Gas Master leads and being thick they don't fit in the standard 3.9 V8 lead separators. I haven't done anything about it though. Maybe one day.

Must be a WA thing. :p You mob still driving on the left side of the road over there? :DQuote:
I've never heard them be called sparky ties before and I'm a sparky
Looks like the same one on my XJ6.
Morelys or something like that.

I have always called them cable ties;)
Ditto......Thats also what they are called on the packet :D
I love your work SS, I'd be inclined to chuck a new set of good quality leads and close up the plug gaps a little but still have them separated as when they start arking they break down the insulation pretty quick so I'd be saying that if they were arking for a while they wouldnt be in that greater nick any more.
Good on ya though I like that :D
#%$!!! Is there a linguist in the house???
I was waiting for a cheeky comment like that . . . :p
NOooo. definitely not a drink bottle holder! hehe, that's what it came with. I suppose when they made the product I thought "how are we going to mount this damn thing..." "Stuff it, a drink bottle holder seems to work"... wonder if it's patented.
Thanks for your info mcrover... I hadn't realised that arcing actually is degradory to the cables...
Seems like a number of things are on my to do list from this...
1 -> wash engine, obviously a little too graphic for some people to handle hehehe :p:)
2 -> get some new ignition leads.
Amongst the number of things pending to be done to the car anyway... like change my windshield... dreading that job so bad.
