I'm having problems with the distributor over advancing and the vacuum advance doesn't help my case. So I disabled it until I get the mechanical advance changed. Hopefully soon!

Gas likes high static and not much advance, esp. on that sort CR:)

You can play with the mechanical advance yourself, if its a basic elec. ignition, its only a couple of springs and time with a timing light;)
