    Internal Door Locks

I want to fit internal door locks to four doors of my LR Defender County Station Wagon, 110, and an extra external lock to the driver’s door.

Please suggest the best way of doing this.

The traditional method for Series Landrovers is a large pad bolt for the inside and a large hasp and staple with padlock on the outside (use coach bolts on all fittings with the nuts on the inside and bend over the protruding end of the bolts for good measure. Should work on a 110 as well.

I have a Series Landrover fitted with a conventional nightlatch, and I have seen one with a deadlock, so these would be other options.

If you explain your reasons for additional locks, perhaps some better suggestions could be made.
