we actually did this on an Austin A40,,
hacked the guards,
looked wild from the rear seat with half a tyre completely outside the bodywork

An Austin A40! Poor thing I've done it to a VW beatle. Looks a bit less tame than a stocker

I remember an old 1970s Overland mag with a pic of a dual wheeled Landy, from memory it was an attempt to improve desert driving, but not an effective one.
