    Landy Lovers bugging my Wife

Does your spouse drive your Landy on a regular basis ? Does she get approached by men she doesn't know ?

My current Defender and previous County have been too tall to park in the underground carpark in the city. So I drive the Suzuki to work and my wife drives the 110 during the week. She's driven a County/Defender through 3 pregnancies now. Now I know she loves me

But there's a growing problem. She is complaining of more and more men stopping her in carparks asking her how she likes the 110 and does she take it offroad much and should they buy one. Three such incidents in the last month. One guy claimed he was off to buy one after talking to her.

She says she tells them that her husband is an LR nut and he is always fixing/doing something to it and the thing is a money pit, but according to her, this just seems to get the guys more excited.

    She is getting annoyed.

Does anyone elses spouse have this happen ? Are you one of the guys bailing my wife up in carparks ? Look out, next time she might just run you down.

SWMBO used the Defender while her car was being in repaired. Commented on the number of LR drivers that waved to her.

Mind you, she drives a Mitsubishi Delica and whenever I take that out other Delica drivers tend to wave.

My wife takes the Disco to work about half the time and I take her Pug.
It's very common to see women driving Discos and Rangies around here.
Can't say I've ever seen a woman driving a 110 or Defender in these parts, so i'd look twice ( not that many around here any way - Defenders I mean )

After my boss put me through Guilt Town backwards with a wedgie over my head just so I could buy the thing, I cant get the keys off her now.
I use public transport everyday so the Disco is basically the "drop the kids at school" car. Oh how Toorak!

She doesnt get the jibe from the blokes, but, the cheeky smile she has from driving a world famous marque just says it all.

Must agree that most LR's I see are driven by women, especially Disco's.

I bet every one of us went through hell and damnation just to get it.

Part of the initiation process I guess. (Its worth it)

I eventually got my wife to drive the Disco and as I work afternoons she drives the Disco when she gets home if there is anything to be done. She's had a few interesting looks and guys staring in wonder at this chick cruising around in a lifted Disco with muddies.
